The active rotary tiller mounted on a mini tractor Otaman 1.6 meter is used for cultivating large land areas before sowing operations, or for comprehensive treatment of plots in the post-harvest period. It performs active loosening of the soil to a depth of up to 20 cm while simultaneously burying weeds and crop residues, breaks up large clods and effectively mixes the soil to a homogeneous fraction. Suitable for treating compact, soddy areas, it can be used for incorporating green manure or mixing organic and mineral fertilizers into the soil.
The active Otaman tiller attaches to a tractor with a power of at least 24 horsepower by the rear three-point hitch. At a working transport speed of up to 5 km/h, the unit achieves an output of 0.9 ha/h, effectively loosening and mixing soil layers on plots with a working width of up to 1.6 meters. The main working unit is reliably protected by a wide metal housing, reinforced with four circular profile tubes that prevent clogging of the mechanisms by shredded vegetation and soil particles.
This active rotary tiller mounted on a mini tractor Otaman 1.6 meter is equipped with a powerful loosening block - 52 sharp sickle-shaped knives bolted to a strong steel shaft in left- and right-hand directions. The removable type of looseners allows easy disassembly of worn elements and quick replacement with new parts, and the oppositely directed arrangement of the knives noticeably increases the efficiency of working soils of varying complexity. The unit is driven by a side chain gearbox from the PTO of the transport used.
