High-performance unit - two-row potato planter for tractor KSN-2T-90P is used for synchronous execution of two types of agricultural operations - planting seed potatoes and applying mineral fertilizers to the soil. It has two large receiving hoppers of 45 L each and two additional hoppers with a dosing device for granular or bulk fertilizers.
The potato planter is attached to mini tractors with power from 12 horsepower using a three-point semi-mounted system. All four traction wheels are equipped with chain drives - two for the seeding mechanisms, two for the fertilizer units. Torque is transmitted to the devices from the traction wheels through an intermediate shaft and drive chain, causing the conveyors to move and the dosing devices to operate.
During planting, the planter for mini-tractors, using the metal stamped scoops of the conveyor, lifts and drops calibrated tubers (60 mm diameter) into the furrow through the guiding part. Mineral fertilizers are simultaneously delivered into the soil from the fertilizer unit. The tuber is covered with soil from both sides by disk closers, forming an even earthen ridge. Planting depth is adjusted by changing the height position of the keel-shaped coulter within 5-15 cm.
Working units are attached to the frame with bolted connections and pressure plates, which allow adjusting the row spacing to 60-70 cm; in addition, the two-row potato planter KSN-2T-90P has an adjustable planting pitch - 20-25-30 cm, which is provided by a set of interchangeable sprockets on the chain drive. The required value is set by moving the chain to the sprocket with the necessary diameter. The maximum performance of the unit is 0.2 ha/h.
