The active rotary tiller Bomet 1.6 m for a tractor is equipped with a sturdy steel housing and a reliable working mechanism designed for heavy workloads. The unit handles the cultivation of heavy waterlogged and floodplain soils excellently, efficiently crumbling dense, vegetation-covered layers, cutting, shredding rhizomes and stems of weeds and crop residues, loosening the soil to a depth of up to 12 cm with a working width of 1.6 meters.
Maximum productivity — 0.45 ha/h, the Bomet 1.6 m tiller achieves this at a transport speed of 5 km/h. The equipment is attached to machinery with at least 48 horsepower via a rear three-point reinforced hitch with double-sided pins. Steel skids are located on the sides of the housing, providing free movement of the unit over any terrain, with the ability to adjust the working position of the elements.
For work on the plot, the active rotary tiller Bomet 1.6 m for the tractor is connected to the PTO of the machine used. When the engine is switched on, the required force is transmitted from the PTO through the driveshaft to the equipment's milling shaft, starting its rotation at a speed of 265 rpm. The 42 sickle-shaped plate knives fixed on the shaft discs, arranged in right- and left-hand directions, come into active motion, intensively breaking the soil to the required fraction. The size of the soil fractions is regulated by the rear hood, equipped with spring lift and lowering mechanisms.
