Effective Polish equipment - a two-row Bomet potato planter for a tractor (row spacing 62-68 cm) designed for long productive work planting sorted potato tubers (60 mm) on pre-prepared fields with a maximum productivity of 0.2 ha/h. Equipped with a large metal hopper with a capacity of 180 L with two seeding units.
The working unit is mounted on a sturdy frame made of steel profile, has a three-point hitch for coupling with machinery with power from 24 horsepower. Chain conveyors are equipped with round stamped cups, driven by a chain drive mounted on the device axle. During planting, the Bomet potato planter feeds tubers from the hopper via the feed tube into a furrow at a pre-set spacing of 29-32-35 cm by conveyor belt.
The planting pitch is adjusted using the support wheels with which the Bomet planter is equipped. The running wheels have an original design that allows changing their diameter by using additional mounting holes that increase or decrease the circumference. The planting depth of the two keel-shaped coulters also depends on the selected wheel diameter and ranges from 10 to 15 cm.
This two-row Bomet potato planter for a tractor (row spacing 62-68 cm) is equipped with three wedge-shaped ridgers with reinforced noses, which have special adjustable wings for effective soil covering of the crop and forming an even earth ridge, achieved by changing the position of the elements. Behind the unit there are metal stands for observing the quality of the performed work.
