Reliable maneuverable equipment - active soil tiller Bomet 1.4 m for tractor, designed for pre-sowing soil preparation for planting various agricultural crops. Due to its compact dimensions, it efficiently works plots with nonstandard parameters, effectively loosening soils of any complexity, including floodplain, waterlogged soils. The unit connects to the PTO (540 rpm) of the tractor via a driveshaft that sets the milling shaft rotating at 265 rpm.
The main working assembly with which the Bomet 1.4 m soil tiller is equipped is a powerful working shaft with discs and 36 steel sickle-shaped plate knives. The knives are fixed on the discs in opposite directions (left and right), have sharp ground edges, and are made of high-quality alloy steel. During operation, the cutting elements penetrate the soil to a depth of up to 12 cm, intensively loosening the soil and covering a strip 1.4 meters wide. The maximum productivity — 0.4 ha/h — is achieved by the unit at an operating transport speed of 5 km/h.
The active Bomet 1.4 m soil tiller for tractor is attached to a tractor with an engine power of from 40 horsepower. It is mounted behind the machine with a three-point hitch with double-sided pins, wide metal reinforcements and welded steel tines. A movable hood is located at the rear of the housing, equipped with special spring mechanisms for setting the required working height and adjusting the size of soil fractions (the necessary crushing intensity is achieved by raising or lowering the hood). Free movement over any terrain is ensured by two steel skids located at the lower part of the sidewalls of the housing.
