Pre-seeding cultivator with roller for a Bomet mini tractor 1.8 m spring tines performs the final continuous soil cultivation, effectively preparing the area for subsequent sowing operations. It performs loosening, aeration and levelling of the topsoil layer, crushes large clods into fine fractions, maximally destroys weeds and slows their regrowth, helps retain moisture and enriches the soil with oxygen.
On the Bomet 1.8 m pre-seeding spring cultivator, 11 steel S-shaped looseners with removable double-sided shares are mounted using ladder-type fastenings. The looseners are fixed on three transverse beams of a welded profile frame in a staggered order, which ensures complete coverage of the area being processed to a width of 1.8 meters. The unit is attached to a mini-tractor with power from 25 horsepower by the rear three-point hitch, equipped with a profile reinforcer and a screw fitting for controlling the working depth of the rear roller.
Two support wheels mounted on the Bomet 1.8 m pre-seeding cultivator with roller and spring tines are provided at the front with special screw mechanisms for adjusting the working depth and the operating position of the unit, depending on soil complexity and plot relief features. A single-row twin rolling drum (diameter 295 mm) is located at the rear of the frame on separate adjustable mounts. The roller consists of two cord drums with toothed steel bars (8 on each), welded at a slight incline. The toothed blade thoroughly crushes large soil fractions, distributes and rolls the crushed soil, preparing a compacted seedbed. The maximum productivity of the equipment is 1.1 ha/hour.
