Convenient maneuverable device - corn seeder for walk-behind tractor STV-2 (Si1) (vegetable), used for precise planting of various vegetable, legume and small-seed crops in two rows with a total width of 50 cm. Designed to work with motor equipment with power from 6 horsepower, it is attached by a rear semi-trailer single-point hitch.
The precision seeder for the walk-behind tractor is driven by a chain transmission with a sprocket system mounted on the shaft of the drive wheel, with the ability to adjust the sowing spacing by changing the gear ratio. The unit is equipped with interchangeable seed drums with different cell sizes, calculated for planting certain types of crops in a dotted or clump (hill) method.
The working units are mounted on a profiled frame with bolted connections and can be moved along the tube, changing the row spacing in the range from 16 to 50 cm. While the machine moves, the planting devices with which the precision seeder is equipped begin to rotate, capturing seeds from the hopper into the cells and dropping them down the guide tube into furrows cut by the leg coulters, placing the crop in the soil at a depth from 1 to 6 cm.
