The five-row grain-and-fertilizer walk-behind-tractor seeder S3T 2BJ-5F has a convenient design and is equipped with all necessary functions to carry out a productive sowing process with parallel application of dry mineral substances into the soil. It connects to diesel walk-behind tractors with a water cooling system with power of 6 - 8 horsepower using a universal single-point semi-mounted mechanism.
For simultaneous planting of seed in five rows, the grain seeder for a walk-behind tractor is equipped with five seeding units connected to the coulters by flexible corrugated seed tubes. The foot coulters are fixed on two transverse profile beams with stirrup fastenings, with the ability to adjust the inter-row distance to 15-30 cm. The total width of the strip being worked is 120 cm; at a working speed of the machine of 6 km/h the unit shows a productivity of 0.175 - 0.431 ha/h.
The long metal hopper with which the grain seeder for a walk-behind tractor is equipped is divided into two compartments - for seed and for fertilizer. The drum-type seeding mechanism has the function of smooth adjustment of the drums with selection of cells of a certain size for the specific type of crop being planted. The working units are driven by a chain transmission from the drive wheels/soil-engaging wheels.
