Non-standard mobile seed drill for a walk-behind tractor, motor-tractor SZ 5 - 95D disc 5-row (SZCH5RD) has a sturdy functional design, resistant to high working loads. The unit is used for sowing any types of grain crops, suitable for planting beet, alfalfa, corn simultaneously in five rows with a total working width of 95 cm.
The disc seed drill (SZCH5RD) is attached to the motor equipment by a rear single-point hitch made of profiled tubes, reinforced with transverse braces. Under the hitch, on the subframe, there are ground-engaging wheels with chain drive and an adjustment screw. A capacious hopper is located at the top of the body; under the hopper five spool-type seeding mechanisms are mounted, connected to the disc openers by corrugated seed tubes. The openers are attached to two longitudinal profile ladder frames, with the ability for the tools to move freely along the tubes to set the required row spacing.
When the machine moves, the ground-engaging wheels start the rotation of the seeding spools, which pick up and feed the seed from the hopper through the receiving chamber along the seed tube to the base of the openers. The seed slides down the walls, falls to the bottom of the furrow and is covered with soil that crumbles from the edges. The required sowing depth is set by changing the working height of the openers and the support wheels from 5 to 10 cm. This seed drill for a walk-behind tractor, motor-tractor SZ 5 - 95D disc 5-row (SZCH5RD) is equipped with steel discs with a diameter of 21 cm with bearings and side spring scrapers. The seeding spools have several cell size options for a specific crop being planted; the required size is adjusted by a special screw on the side wall of the hopper.
