High-precision universal disc grain seeder for tractor, mini tractor 15-row (SZCh15RT) is used for mechanized planting of various seed crops - rye, barley, wheat, peas, rapeseed, maize, alfalfa, etc. on medium sowing areas. In a single pass it performs seed sowing simultaneously on fifteen rows over an area 2 meters wide, with a maximum productivity of 1.2 ha/h.
The 15-row disc grain seeder (SZCh15RT) is attached to a tractor with a power of from 16 horsepower via a rear three-point hitch made of profile tubes, reinforced with two welded steel strips. It is equipped with fifteen double-disc coulters (diameter 21 cm), located on two profile frames, using movable stirrup fastenings that allow quickly setting the required row spacing by moving elements along the steel tubes.
The planting mechanisms with which the disc grain seeder for tractor, mini tractor 15-row (SZCh15RT) is equipped are connected to the coulters by flexible corrugated hoses. The unit is put into working condition by a chain drive from the traction wheels-ground engaging wheels installed at the rear of the frame. During transportation movement, the drive chain connecting the wheel axle with the axis of the seeding blocks causes rotation of the disc units. The seeds loaded into the hopper are fed through special windows into the receiving chambers of the planting mechanisms, descend through seed tubes to the base of the coulters and are laid into the cut furrows. The seeding units are designed for seed material of fine and coarse fractions; the required size is adjusted by lateral screws located on the hopper wall.
