Mobile planter for a walk-behind tractor for corn STV-4 (SI2) (vegetable) is used for planting many vegetable crops - carrots, onions, radishes, beets, cucumbers, watermelons, zucchinis, corn; it is also excellent for sowing legumes and small-seeded crops on medium private or farm plots. Seed planting is done simultaneously in four rows, the total width of the worked strip is 135 cm.
The four seeding sections are mounted on a profiled frame with reliable fastenings fixed by bolts, which allow moving the working units along the tube and adjusting the row spacing from 16 to 45 cm. The corn planter is attached to mini-tractors with a power of at least 6 horsepower by a rear semi-mounted single-point device. The planting units are driven by a traction wheel equipped with a chain drive that transmits torque to the drive shaft of the metering devices.
When the vehicle moves, the corn planter for a mini-tractor picks seeds into the cells (diameter 8 mm) of the seeding drums and feeds them into the discharge guide tubes connected to the bases of the hoe-openers. The seed, sliding down the wall of the opener into the cut furrows, is placed in the soil at a depth from 1 to 6 cm.
For final covering, the planter for a walk-behind tractor for corn STV-4 (SI2) (vegetable) is equipped with combined coverers (moving chains with ballast weights) that cover the planted seeds with soil and compact them with rollers that level the field surface along the direction of travel. Adjustment of the planting spacing (5 - 10 cm) is carried out by changing the gear ratio using a sprocket system on the chain drive.
