High-precision universal disc grain seeder for a tractor, mini tractor, 10-row (with a hopper for mineral fertilizers) is used for mechanized planting of various seed crops - rye, barley, wheat, peas, rapeseed, corn, alfalfa, etc. on medium sowing areas with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers. In one pass it performs sowing of seeds simultaneously on ten rows over an area 2 meters wide, with a maximum productivity of 1.2 ha/h.
The 10-row disc grain seeder (with a box for mineral fertilizers) is mounted on a tractor with power from 16 horsepower by the rear three-point hitch from profile tubes, strengthened by two welded steel strips. It is equipped with ten double-disc openers (diameter 21 cm), located on two profile frames, using movable stirrup fastenings that allow quick adjustment of the required row spacing by moving elements along the steel tubes.
The planting mechanisms with which the 10-row disc grain seeder for tractor, mini tractor (with a compartment for fertilizers) is equipped are connected to the openers by flexible corrugated hoses. The unit is set to working condition by a chain drive from the traction wheels-soil-engagers mounted at the rear of the frame. During transport movement, the drive chain connecting the wheel axle with the axis of the seeding units causes the disc units to rotate. Seeds loaded into the hopper are fed through special windows into the receiving chambers of the planting mechanisms, descend through seed tubes to the base of the openers and are placed in the cut furrows. The seeding devices are designed for seed material of fine and large fractions; the required size is adjusted by side screws located on the wall of the hopper.
