2-row seedling planter for mini-tractors is designed for mechanized planting of seedlings of various vegetable crops - lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, beets, celery, peppers, strawberries. Suitable for use in garden and forestry farms for planting fruit and flowering shrubs, when forming spruce or pine plantations. Can be used for planting vegetation 6 to 20 cm high on large sowing areas and private plots.
This 2-row seedling planter performs planting of crops in open ground with a wide range of spacing - 20, 30, 40, 60, 120 cm. Plants are planted at the same depth (up to 25 cm), which promotes maximum deepening of the root system of the planted crops. The soil around the plants is compacted and rolled by side rollers, forming a high protective earth ridge that provides good plant stability. Row width is adjustable (from 50 to 115 cm) by repositioning working units fastened to the frame with movable bolted connections with pressure plates.
The 2-row seedling planter is intended for mini-tractors with power from 12 horsepower, is attached to the rear of the machine by a three-point hitch system with double-sided pins and reinforced side plates. For even planting of crops it is equipped with special discs with marker holes at 60, 90, 120 mm. While the vehicle moves, two operators sequentially place the plants under the rotating discs, which feed the seedlings into grooves cut by coulters, and the rolling rollers gently cover the plants with soil. Two comfortable plastic seats, a wide platform for seedling boxes and two adjustable front wheels are mounted on the frame.
