Convenient four-row vegetable seeder for mini tractor STVT-4 (SI3) (precision seeder) performs the full cycle of sowing operations - furrow formation, sowing and covering the seed in the soil. It is used for sowing many vegetable, small-seeded and grain-legume crops in a hill or drop pattern. Precise sowing is ensured by dosing drums with cells of various sizes, calculated for the seed size of the variety being planted.
This precision seeder is intended for mini-tractors with power from 18 horsepower, and is attached to the machine by a rear three-point hitch. Metal hoppers with planting devices are fixed on a profile beam with movable bolt connections that allow the working units to move freely along the frame to set the required row spacing within 20 - 70 cm.
In one pass the vegetable seeder for a mini-tractor processes four rows, covering a sowing strip 160 cm wide. The planting devices receive torque from the traction wheels, transmitting rotation from the drive through a chain transmission to the drive shaft of the dosing mechanisms. Both traction wheels are equipped with a drive chain and a sprocket system, allowing adjustment of the planting step by changing the gear ratio.
Seeds from the hopper enter the cells of the rotating drum, move through guide tubes to the main shovel openers and fall into the furrow, where the vegetable seeder for mini tractor STVT-4 (SI3) (precision seeder), using rotary coverers, performs the final covering, gently closing the planted crop with soil. The unit is additionally equipped with disc row markers.
