Six-row seed-and-fertilizer drill for walk-behind tractor S3T 2BJ-6F is intended for sowing many cereals, medium- and small-seeded grain-legume crops, with simultaneous placement of bulk mineral fertilizers into the soil. The unit plants seed on six rows at once, treating a sowing width of 150 cm, achieving maximum productivity of 0.205 - 0.505 ha/h, at a recommended machine speed of 6 km/h.
This seed drill for a walk-behind tractor is used with a diesel engine with liquid cooling, power 8 - 10 horsepower. It is provided with a single-point semi-trailer coupling with strong welded joints, attaching to the rear of the vehicle. On a frame of metal profiles there is a long hopper with two compartments for loading seed and fertilizer. At the bottom of each compartment there are special openings for supplying seed material and mineral substances into the receiving chambers of the planting units.
A chain drive is located on the axle of the traction wheels, which engages the seeding and fertilizer mechanisms. For a maximally efficient working process, the walk-behind tractor drill is equipped with smooth adjustment of drums with different cell sizes. Corrugated seed tubes are fixed to each working unit, connecting the receiving chambers and the chisel coulters, which are mounted on two transverse beams by stirrup hinges with pressing plates. The mounts are movable, allowing easy adjustment of the row spacing from 15 to 30 cm.
