Two-row potato planter for a mini tractor, disk ridger (KSNM2A) is used for planting seed potato tubers in two rows simultaneously. It is equipped with two square metal hoppers with a total volume of 150 l; inside the hoppers there are chain conveyors with round steel cups, driven by a chain drive from the traction wheel-grounders.
This two-row potato planter (KSNM2A) performs the full cycle of planting operations - it cuts the furrow, plants the tuber and covers the root crop with soil, forming even neat ridges. The unit is attached to tractors with power of at least 18 horsepower using a rear three-point hitch reinforced with welded steel brackets. The working units are mounted on the frame on movable ladders, which allows adjusting the row spacing to 50 - 55 - 60 cm. The planting pitch is fixed and is 27 cm.
While the machine moves, the two-row potato planter for a mini tractor, disk ridger (KSNM2A) lifts the tubers onto the cup with a chain conveyor and drops the root crop through a guide shaft into the furrows created by the coulter, where the vegetable is covered with soil by two disk closers with adjustable angle. Planting depth is set by changing the height position of the keel-shaped (anchor) coulter from 10 to 15 cm. For monitoring the planting process, there is a special seat with a metal footrest at the rear of the unit.

Description
